The new Dungeons of Silkroad Online

At the moment, it is sure that 3 more Dungeons will come to Silkroad Online. One of them will be Jupiter Temple south of Constantinople. Information from Joymax site:

An old temple left behind from ancient Greek myths. Mediator between the
Greek mythological space and the SilkRoad, inside which a number of
ancient Greek mythological creatures appear.

An other Dungeon will come with the Islam update. It is Tower Of Babel.

An enormous tower built by ancient humans in defiance to God. Demolished
by God's punishment, foolish humans have yet to forsake defiance and
they seek to rebuild this tower.

In a conference video
where Joymax announced the start of kSRO, you can see an artwork of the
Tower Of Babel, unfortunally only in a bad quality:
Some
information about the new Dungeon which could already be included this
year were found in the new PK2 files. At the moment, the not confirmed
name is Shrine of Seth. It will be a dungeon located near Cleopatra's Gate in Asia Minor.
There are new text lines like
UIIT_STT_EGYPT_SHRINE_SETH_ENTRANCE_NUMBER
UIIT_STT_EGYPT_REPUTATION_ICON_TOOLTIP
UIIT_MSG_EGYPT_MENU_ERROR_UNIONMEMBER
or
UIIT_MSG_EGYPT_DUNGEON_DESTROY_ALARM
but all with Korean text that can not be translated easily.
The new Map files show also text lines, like:

I am not sure why Joymax uses r1_cv and r2_cv as folder names. It could mean "ruin 1/2 _ cave", so there could be 2 dungeons!!
The dungeon will obviously contain the mobs from the video in my "Islam Update" news.

Silkroad Online Update: Arabian Race

In the very beginning in 2004, Joymax wanted SRO to have Chinese,
Europeans, and Arabians as characters. But since they did not have any
concept about the Arabian race, they included the Europe update first.
Now it's time for the 3rd race.First of all, general information about the Arabian chars:

The
Arabians (Islamic characters) will have the ability to summon genies.
The summoned genies will be able to battle and, through intensive
training perform other feats of spirit magic. Islamic characters will
be able to use the sword, blade, claw (Katar) and the chakoram
(Chakram) as their weapons. The genies will be able to train in the 4
attributes of Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water.

So, the chars will
have - not like Europeans - physical and magical attack. There will be
8 skill masteries, for each weapon and each element one.
I am not sure about it, but it could be, that the Genie can learn more abilities using special grey tablets.
There will be 2 big new regions for the Islamic race. These are Sahara Desert and an other - still unknown - area.

Dungeon: Tower of Babel

There are at the moment not many information about the new region. But I think that there will be a way on the river from Hotan to the south, to Tehran. This could be true because of an artwork from the kSRO installer:

The city does really not look like one we already got in the game, and in the background you see mountains which could be Flame Mountain. West of it there could be Sahara Desert and the Tower of Babel. In Sahara Desert will be Waterfalls and Dust-Falls.

In the KSRO Files, mulk81 found new mob-models of Sahara Desert mobs:

These are all information I got about the Arabian race atm.

Detailed information: KSRO Legend IX Update

KSRO Legend 9 will come this year.
It will include Flame mountain, a new area south of Hotan.
Flame mountain has a not that big outside area, but it also got a cave.
There will be 30 mobs, level 80-110.
So, the maximum level will be 110 and the 11th degree items will be added.


Of course there will be 110 quests and skills too.

Silkroad Online Update - Flame Mountain



This is Flame Mountain. Flame Mountain is a new region that will be included in the next kSRO updates. I expect it to be in Legend IX.
Flame Mountain is in the south of Hotan.
Here I got an other artwork which could be the entrance to a Dungeon. Notice that you see a palace in the background that could be Hotan palace!

Flame Mountain will have 30 new mobs and 1 new Unique. The Unique is the mob you can see on the first artwork.

Here some information about the arabian race update that will come soon in kSRO.

Islamic characters can summon Genies. The genies can attack physically, or use the elemental magics
of their nature. Islamic characters use four kinds of weapons: sword,
ax, katar, and can summon genies whose magics are based on Earth, Wind,
Fire, and Water.

The Arabians (Islamic characters) will have the ability to summon

i read something in SRF about the Islam/Arab skills and its really funny.

it said that you can have a very good skill when u reached the cap, the skill has 100 AoE which kill everyone inside the radius in an instant but the caster has to die with them, its called suicide bomber skill.

i doubt sth like that^^ it would destroy every sense of pvp and even Joymax wont be such intolerant

I think i know the reason, many are visit as i see every day in our forum, but less made new topics, ask something in forum, or post anything else, they are here just to follow our guides to play cSRO.
Each day we have about 4 new members.

i can confirm that, the downloads of media and patch are ca 10per day from my rapidshare account
and the "old" cSRO players dont have so much questions and only post funlinks / screens
