What should i pick!?

Hello everyone!

I just started on Csro (thank you GRAnemoS for the CID code), But I don't know waht build i should take ( neither what server to pick ).

I like both to play solo and in a group.
I wanna lvl kinda quick.

make it rogue/ bard


cleric i uselss man trust me

Bard only gives noise and running speed so I don't think i will pick that...

lol, thats all u need... recovery division sucks lasts for only 300secs
walking aound with no speed is annoying, trust lol

and noise is the greatest thing ever, u dont get attacked by any mobs around you... u waste less HP and wont die as fast

cleric only give recovery and protection, unless ur doing it to heal other ppl...

I agree w/ clown about going bard cleric is useless its a support character for others around you.

If you choose rogue or 2h
The best way to build is Rogue/Bard or 2h/Bard.
They are good in lvling up, jobbing, and pvp.

If you choose 1h
The best way to build is 1h/lock.
They are good in pvp & lvling Debuff then kill also u get stuns,sleep, and others.

If you choose lock
The best way to go is lock/bard
They are good in pvp lvl really fast and theres no need for cleric because u gain hp back w/ locks using spells.

Chinese Nukers are great best would be s/s cold, light, sword

Wizards are only good for killing uniques and plvling =p


I recommend 1h/lock or 2h/bard but in your case you want to lvl fast so I would recommend some kind of nuker preferibly euro less sp you will need!

Ive heard that Cleric as sub is good ( defence,hp and such...).
But I guess it's useless for warriors with skin.
I'm thinking about either a 1h/lock, 2h/bard, S/S nuker or some kind of rogue... Hard to choose... x_x

prefer y s/s nuker ...if y wana lvl fast y need to kill fast mobs so make a nuker

definitely wizard and cleric
wizard is the fastest lvling char and cleric gives u protection, if u lvl both cleric and wizard skills u can wear light armour so u gain more physical protection. cleric is always welcome in any party.
i totally disagree with the"Wizards are only good for killing uniques and plvling" my lvl 90 wizard can bot on lvl 88 mobs sololy.

but i can also tell u the down side of this build--- you need plenty of skill points!

OR you can see if any one in this forum already doing bard, then consider if adding bard to your skill is neccessary. (wizard already has long killing distance, the only time i needed bard is when i'm killing hunters lol, and i could always find a bard when needed.)

edit: cleric's buff is better than warriors cos every1 in the party can benefit from it. and cleric can heal players, warriors can't

i agree with snowball choose this char is very strong

full str blader
100 fire 100 ice 100 bicheon
make lvl 98+7 or +9 make crit 14 and you will have best char except those naabs who have sun ^^

Becouse everybody will tell you that their build is the best and rest is just a bounch of dumb, stupid............chars.
I play warlock/cleric and i wont tell anything about him.

Cleric is useless for warriors???
cleric is the best sub for warrior (warlock is good too but only for 1vs1), becouse you ahould be a tanker, and warrior got only skins that last 45s and you need more than a minute to cast another one, and thats it, nothing rly good to bust your defence and stuff. thats why warrior needs cleric, becouse cleric gives:
-recovery div - constant regeneration of HP
-bless - the most powerfull skill in the game, icreses phy and mag def!
and you can have both bless and skins at one time that makes you immortal!or yopu can you use it when you're out of skins
-holy word -protection from bad status and debuffs, without it every warlock or somebody wit warlock as a sub will take a warrior down
- healing cycle -more powerfull HP regeneration, with someone with quick fingers it becomes a very good skill, but most of ppl are imbeciles and can use that skill as they should.
- buffs, warrior is char for pt and with cleric buffs he is more useful in pt

i think it also depends on what u wanna do with your char- pvp? job wars? or just leveling? are you solo most of the time or not?

i have played all the chars that you listed above. they all have their strength and weakness. my main purpose was job wars and pvp, and wizard satisfy my expectations. from your list, spear nuker is probably the weakest.
for solo lvling, warriors lack in speed.
for party lvling(european), dagger rogue can't do long distance killing, by the time you get close to the mob, it is dead. (i always prefered xbow rogue)
for solo pvp, spear nuker lack in protection.
for party pvp, i don't suggest chinese chars. 1h/cleric has the lowest damage, so this char may seems to be the "unwanted" person if there are already "full time" clerics and warriors around. warlock takes time to kill but he can enjoy the feeling of "torturing" other ppl

I like to pvp and both solo and party grind. Now it leans to either a warlock/cleric, 2h/cleric or a rogue...

All characters r good.. if u farm it nicely .. n more importan .. u must enjoy ur character.. juz choose d built dat u like d most... i had a pure str bower b4.. but d skill like all d same.. so.. im going to ice blader.. it has cool combo . . just enjoy d game..

I suggest to make a crossbow/cleric ! I had a char (that build) and i lvl up very fast ! One another idea is too make a wizard/bard ,it will be difficult at the first lvl's but after 30+ it's going to be easier!

hehe so now time for my opinion ^^ I play all the time warlock / cleric i have on him lvl 100 and i can tell you that this build have the fastest lvling from all builds if somebody can really play this build and have good gear and set... For PVP/JW warlock is good when enemies dont have holy spell or fire shield

2h/cleric is slowly in lvling but really helpful in PT griding and powerfull in PVP/JW i think its the most powerfull char in PVP/JW

rogue/cler is really strong build with HUGE critical dmg and perfect for solo play unuse in PT (in PT need only cleric) in PVP/JW this build can do really much almost like 2h/cleric but have little less defence

And what happened to your plvl party time and time again? 1 guy dies.. and what no cleric to res em? *RUBS IT IN HARD*

I play a wizard/cleric now... and love it.. solo is easy as pie... partys are fun... uniques are easy... but.. this is not my fav build of all time... I love china bladers and warlock/clerics more... why do I not play one now? Something different.. just like my 2nd cSRO player I am messing around with is a china archer, i half like it i half don't so Goldi it is!! Next on my list.. "Battle Bard" or dual-axe warrior should be fun to try!!

Want my last 2 cents worth... I am likeing ranged attacks more then closeup ones. Example.. dagger rouge (picking on my buddy clown again because we had this talk b4) has to run monster to moster to get kills and it wastes time with or with out speed vs xbow rouge who ust stands there and picks stuff off... little running needed, same with a wizard just nukes everything from a far which is pretty nice. My second cent of the two is this. If your something other then a "TANK" and you do not need noise because you should never find yourself in the middle of 4-6 monsters.. you should be picking 1 or 2 off at a time or small groups of them... not rushing in and blasting you way out of it.. that GLORY is left for pure str players, only. So putting on a cleric rod and casting bless/recover div/holy word/healing cycle is easy.. i click my self while hitting F2 then 1 for cleric rod 2, 3, 4, and 5 as needed 6 to reequip my staff and then on with the killing... takes what... 1 min tops? so ya... unless your running around like a CLOWN (sorry needed 1 more dig).. cleric sub is always the best!
