About the web password protection ~~~pay attention

IMPORTANT Use only IE for this guide.

The chinese Gm said that from 13 November 2008 ,
if you dont use any password protection ,
and your ID be stolen ,
GMs wont help you to get your items back ,
they have 3 password protections ,
the Frist one they called 优逸密保（ i dont know how to translate it ) ,it need to pay ,and less people use it
the Second need to use mobile telephone to lock your char ,but i think it is impossible for a Europ
the Third is the web password protection ,it is simple and free ,and easy to use it
let me introduce it :

3 set up and unlock and change or delate the code

ATTENTION : after you set up your code you need to :
1,log the website frist (the link :http://passport.srocn.com/mbzx/unlockcode.asp)to unlock your ID everytime,,then you can log in the game , and you only have 5 min to log the game ,if you wont , your char will beautolock again itself .
2, you need to use your identification card ( which one you register the game ID )set up the code,but you need it to change or delate the code .
If you want to get your items and money back after your char be stolen , you `d better use it !

is it really necessary? cause it will do a lot of work if you got to unlock your account every time on that page or is there at the moment a mega hacking going around in csro?

it is not necessary , but it can make your ID more safe and if your char be stolen you can get your items back ,or they wont help you

great guide Wangchao this is very useful i had my chars hacked twice but i use mobile phone lock but i urge everyone to use password protection to keep your account safe

if you want to set a security password, then fill in these required field.



When you want to log on to the game, you need to unlock your account first, and log on within 5 minutes. (your account will be locked automatically by the system after 5 minutes)




Changing security codes:
enter your CID to the first box, type in and confirm the new password

Removing security codes:
just type in your CID but leave other boxes blank.

If you cannot register for the system, post a screenshot of the message in Troubles section.
NOTE:
1)you have to activate all divisions before you can register for this system.

2)if you haven't played for a long time, you need to contact a gm to re-activate your account to register.

Just go the the spot where you change it on the offical site and it will be listed there.

So how does this system works? If i get hacked and have password protection GM can return my items? but how can the GMs know what items i had before i got hacked, am i supposed to always save a list of what i have everyday?

mine it's not listed there

I dont know how u can see your CID, but i know about your items, all servers has log texts files, they know any time what we have in our storages, inventry etc, so if you got hacked then you have just to say when u got hacked.

i just lost my account because i used a security code and now it says it's the wrong one, this is totally BS, lost my first account with lv 70 -.-

Lost my account that way, too. One tip: You should use IE to set your security code instead of Firefox. I've noticed that there's a bug if you want to set a security number and the numbers you write are different than those you actually click.
You should probably write in big red letters in your first post that you should to use IE for browsing srocn.com.

I never had ptoblem with Firefox, but as u saw i didnt posted that.

yeah i used firefox to set security code, which i won't use it anymore

as you know the numbers are random always you login, but when you click the first number even if the image says "7" it wil type a 0, second one is 1, and so on, so i recomend using internet explorer so you dont lose account like me
