forum improvements

Allright, first of all, GRAnemoS, i love the way you maintain this forum a lot.
you put lots of effort in this community and so on.
but i feel like many other players that all the graphics and news bars are using a lot of memory on the gfx card which slows the pc down a lot.
i dont want you to take it all away but just take it as a suggestion for later.

why don't you take a new banner on the top of this forum, one that doesnt flash all the time and start all over and over again. i know you like flashy things but the main goal of a website/forum is usability. and when im playing sro while having this forum open, it slows me down a lot. and i dont have a bad pc actually.

info like: "Welcome on our forum and on cSRO" on top going from right to left is cool, it draws all our attention but it's a bit laggy.

another thing: on the right top, the csro timer thingy is also needing long time to load, if you want i'll make you some code to make it less laggy (and flashy Sad

)

just take this as something to consider and i'm not offending you in any way.

Seems to be that the website in running more smoother and faster in Firefox..but on IE i dont know why silent

And the csro timer loads much faster on FF. maybe bad written codes on IE? Rolling Eyes

@Rage why we have Graphic team in our forum? I guess not only to talk here and to suggests.... Laughing

You can create anything you want and we will see what we can change here.
I dont know if we can change the flash header to stop when is done one cycle.

imo this is one of the worst forum styles ive seen so far, idc about the performance it does not lagg for me but all those moving things are rather anoying than helpful...(i also blocked most of them by now :p) e.g. the latest post box where the threads fly through, everytime anything on the page is reloaded this damn box starts from the beginning and cuz this side almost never ends loading its pretty hard to see all of the threads shown there, imo it would be way more handy if it is static

an admin won't insult and if he does he'll have a very good reason for this.
and even if he insulted you, you should respect an admin, not becouse he insulted you, but becouse he gives you the option to choose from various tools and information, and you need 'em Wink

OT:the style aint bad, i only say it needs a bit improvement on usability ^^
