hello. a socket system tutorial please ?

considering the new update is comming , could someone explain the socket system to me ? i`d really appreciate it . thnx.

Sockets can be created on equipment items. In these sockets, socket stones can be put using a special "Grant stone". Socket stones can also be removed with "Remove Rondos". The socket stone's degree must be the same as the equipment's degree.

These socket stones have special effects that last permanently when the stones are installed on equipment. You just have to activate them like you do with buffs.

New Socket Stone descriptions:

SP stone
Gives additional skill points when hunting monsters.

Gold stone
Gives additional gold dropped when hunting monsters.

Berserker stone
Increases the duration of Berserk.

Damage return stone
Reflects damage upon successful block.

Evasion stone
Temporarily increases Evasion upon use.

Damage absorption stone
Casts a temporary damage absorption buff upon use.

Critical stone
Increases Critical Hit.

Movement stone
The character has a chance of being freed from movement restrictions upon use.

Healing stone
The character heals himself/herself upon use.

Mental stone
Triggered at a certain chance, the next spell cast does not cost MP.

HP stone
Temporarily boosts HP upon use.

MP stone
Temporarily boosts MP upon use.

Accuracy stone
Temporarily boosts Accuracy upon use.

Knockback stone
Enemies within range are knocked back upon use.

hmmmm hang on... some of the stones are not in the csro update.
ONLY 11D WEAPONS AND CHESTs are allowed to have sockets,
u r allowed 3 sockets per weapon/chest. You'll have 5 mins of cooldown time after u activated the effects. if you trade the item to other person then you dont need to wait for cool down.
when u install the stones, random lvl be given to the stones (just like alchemy)
so far only these stones will be available:
HP stone
Temporarily boosts HP upon use. (50% hp increase, maximum lvl 3)

MP stone
Temporarily boosts MP upon use. (50% mp increase, maximum lvl 3)

Accuracy stone
Temporarily boosts Accuracy upon use (10 seconds) (maximum lvl 3)

Healing stone
The character heals himself/herself upon use (only a certain % of the maximum hp, maximum lvl 5)

Mental stone
Triggered at a certain chance, the next spell cast costs LESS MP (for chest only)

Evasion stone
Temporarily increases Evasion upon use. (10 seconds, maximum lvl 3, for chest only)

This sucks...Why csro can't update all isro updates.......Damn...

iSRO has also only 6 stones, but different ones (they don't have attack rating stone afaik). jSRO has 7 stones and is the version with the most socket stones atm.
